• NCCIH: Psilocybin for Mental Health and Addiction: research overview, legal context, and safety considerations.
• NIDA: Psilocybin: information on effects, risks, and research.
• FDA: Psychedelic Drugs: agency information on drug development and clinical investigation.
• ClinicalTrials.gov: registry for searching clinical studies.
Assess claims carefully
A personal story can describe one person's experience, but it cannot establish clinical efficacy or predict another person's outcome. A claim that uses phrases such as “pure,” “medical grade,” or “clinically tested” needs transparent, verifiable support.
Follow each material claim back to its original source. If no traceable source supports the statement, treat it cautiously and avoid relying on it for a health decision.
Prefer primary evidence to confident-sounding promotion.
